ABOUT ME

Zefyr Lisowski is a writer, artist, sea queen, and editor currently living in NYC. An MFA Candidate in Poetry at Hunter College, their work has appeared or is forthcoming in Muzzle Magazine, Bone Bouquet, DIAGRAM, and Hobart, among other journals. She's been featured on stage as part of the 2017 New York Live Arts Fest, is ensnared by ghosts and trans epistemologies, and is a poetry reader and staffer for Apogee Journal. She's the author of the chapbook about Lizzie Borden and queer intimacy, Blood Box, winner of the Editor's Choice Award from Black Lawrence Press (forthcoming fall 2019) and the microchap Wolf Inventory (Ghost City Press, 2018) and is a 2018 writing resident at Sundress Academy for the Arts/the Lacawac Artists Retreat. A 2018 nominee for the Pushcart Prize, she also goes by Zef.
